What you'll do

  • Identify, approach, and onboard new merchants across various industries to use our payment services (e.g., POS terminals, QR payments, e-wallets).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing merchants to drive usage, retention, and satisfaction.
  • Negotiate merchant discount rates (MDRs), commercial terms, and service agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., product, tech, and operations) to support smooth onboarding and integration.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for merchant queries, support, and escalations.
  • Monitor account and portfolio performance, track transaction volumes, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs in the payments and fintech space.
  • What we expect from you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in merchant acquisition, business development, or account management, preferably in fintech, banking, payments, or e-commerce.
  • Proven experience in closing deals and managing a high-volume portfolio.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a strong drive to exceed targets and KPIs.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to coordinate with international partners and stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas and receiving positive customer feedback.
  • Can speak and understand Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
