Accountant

Wurth Hellas SA is seeking a motivated and experienced Mid-Senior Accountant to join our Finance Department. The successful candidate will play a key role in the daily accounting operations of the company, with strong involvement in ** myDATA processes **, revenue and expense accounting, and tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations and bookkeeping activities
• Handle and monitor myDATA procedures for both revenue and expense documents
• Ensure accurate transmission, reconciliation, and compliance of invoices through the myDATA platform
• Perform accounting entries and reconciliations for accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures
• Ensure compliance with Greek accounting standards and tax legislation
• Collaborate with internal departments, external auditors, and tax advisors
• Assist in improving accounting procedures and internal controls
• Support financial reporting and ad hoc finance projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in accounting
• Strong knowledge of **myDATA **, Greek accounting standards, and tax regulations
• Experience in both revenue and expense accounting processes
• Hands-on experience with SAP ERP systems
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under deadlines
• Excellent communication skills in both Greek and English
• Team-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude
