Key Responsibilities
What you will be doing:
- Determines and installs cost accounting procedures and methods in order to provide cost distribution by department and unit cost of products in terms of labour, materials and overheads.
- Prepares and analyses cost records and reports and conducts cost audits.
- Estimates the cost of proposed new products within an operating unit.
- Performs accounting duties, financial planning and budgeting, reporting budget variances, cost control and cost analyses programs.
