Accounting Manager

Leading Food Manufacturer

Manages the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department, including the accounts payable and receivable functions.

Supervises the maintenance of general ledgers in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.

Maintain adequate system of internal controls, and document company accounting policies.

Prepare monthly account analysis and maintain accurate accounting records for the company.

Responsible for month end close. Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities. Ensure accurate and timely weekly, monthly, quarterly and year end close.

Assist with payroll processing and related reporting. Ensure payroll is processed in an accurate, compliant and timely manner.

Provide monthly financial statements and analysis reports for management team. Support of budget and forecast activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting.
• 5 years of experience in accounting and financial management.
• Supervisory experience in AP and AR
• Experience with accounting processes within an ERP environment.
• In-depth knowledge and experience with payroll calculation and processing.

Additional Information

$70K to $80K plus Bonus
