Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations & Reporting
- Full-Cycle Accounting:Own Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and vendor management.
- Payroll & Benefits:Execute semi-monthly payroll and assist with employee benefits administration.
- Monthly Close:Lead the month-end close process, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Quarterly Financial Packages:Help prepare quarterly reporting packages
- Compliance:Manage expense report auditing and ensure all financial records are organized and audit-ready.
Operations & Office Management
- Office Stewardship:Ensure our workspace remains a productive and welcoming environment, managing supplies, vendor relations, and mail.
- Team Coordination:Support the leadership team with scheduling, team-building events, and internal communications.
- People Ops:Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they have the necessary equipment and access to systems.
- General Support:Act as a "generalist" to help solve daily operational challenges as they arise.
Requirements
Qualifications

Education:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance OR Associate degree with 3+ years of relevant bookkeeping/operations experience.

Experience:1–4 years of experience in accounting

Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online or similar accounting ERP.
- Solid Excel skills (pivots, lookups, and data organization).
- Familiarity with modern tools (e.g., Gusto, Bill.com, Slack).
