Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations & Reporting

  • Full-Cycle Accounting:Own Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and vendor management.
  • Payroll & Benefits:Execute semi-monthly payroll and assist with employee benefits administration.
  • Monthly Close:Lead the month-end close process, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Quarterly Financial Packages:Help prepare quarterly reporting packages
  • Compliance:Manage expense report auditing and ensure all financial records are organized and audit-ready.

Operations & Office Management

  • Office Stewardship:Ensure our workspace remains a productive and welcoming environment, managing supplies, vendor relations, and mail.
  • Team Coordination:Support the leadership team with scheduling, team-building events, and internal communications.
  • People Ops:Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they have the necessary equipment and access to systems.
  • General Support:Act as a "generalist" to help solve daily operational challenges as they arise.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Education:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance OR Associate degree with 3+ years of relevant bookkeeping/operations experience.

  • Experience:1–4 years of experience in accounting

  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online or similar accounting ERP.
    • Solid Excel skills (pivots, lookups, and data organization).
    • Familiarity with modern tools (e.g., Gusto, Bill.com, Slack).
  • Attributes:High integrity, extreme attention to detail, and a "no task is too small" attitude.
