Accounts Executive

Comvita is currently searching for an Accounts Executive that will support the finance operations of the Southeast Asia market. This is a part-time position of up to 30 hours per week for a 6-month fixed term period. This role currently reports directly into our Finance Manager that is also based in our Singapore Office.

About the Role

The role is responsible for payroll processing, accounts receivable, GST filing coordination, cash handling for our retail outlets and accounting administration. The role will also support product registration filings and provide office administrative assistance as and when required.

What is involved

• Prepare payroll calculations, including salaries, allowances, incentives, and sales commissions
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll data prior to processing and payment
• Maintain payroll records in compliance with internal policies and local requirements
• Coordinate with external payroll providers and internal stakeholders as needed
• Prepare GST working schedules and supporting documentation
• Liaise with Group Tax, who will perform GST calculations and submissions
• Monitor customer accounts and follow up on overdue balances, including distributors, retailers and trade customers
• Receive and reconcile cash collections from retail stores
• Prepare and complete timely cash banking

What we would like from you

• At least 2 years experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably within FMCG, retail, or health products
• Familiarity with Singapore payroll, AR processes and GST environments
• Experience supporting retail or multi-store operations is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and 365
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
