About Equativ Japan KK

Founded in February 2025, Equativ Japan K.K. is headquartered at WeWork KDX
Toranomon in Tokyo. Our team of eight represents a diverse and multicultural
environment, with both English and Japanese serving as primary working languages. To
support flexibility and collaboration, we currently operate under a work-from-home
policy on Wednesdays, which will expand to both Wednesdays and Thursdays starting
September 1.

About the team

The Ad Operations team is the driving force behind every campaign that goes live.
Positioned at the intersection of strategy and execution, we are a high-performing,
results-oriented team at the core of Equativ’s business, trusted by some of the world’s
leading brands and agencies to deliver innovative advertising solutions with measurable
impact.

As Equativ continues to accelerate its growth across the JAPAC region, we are seeking an
experienced operator to help lead and shape this next phase of expansion. This role is
ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment where precision, operational
excellence, and performance are critical to success.

Key day-to-day responsibilities

● Manage, trade, and optimize campaigns to meet client KPIs and performance
objectives.
● Work closely with DSP partners, Curators, and Agency stakeholders to ensure
effective campaign management and ongoing optimization.
● Support curators (programmatic resellers) in executing campaign briefs by
coordinating with internal supply teams to secure and deliver the appropriate
inventory.
● Oversee and support the full post-sale process, including campaign setup, pacing
and delivery management, incremental revenue generation, and post-campaign
performance analysis.
● Develop deep expertise in the Maestro platform (Equativ Curation & Activation
platform), including a strong understanding of its features, capabilities, and
operational limitations.
● Respond promptly to urgent trading requests from the Account Management
team and provide first-level troubleshooting support when issues arise.
● Collaborate with Support and Technical Operations teams to resolve more
complex technical and delivery-related issues.
● Partner with Equativ teams across regions to drive operational synergies, share
best practices, and support regional growth initiatives.

About you

● Professional working proficiency in both English and Japanese.
● Proven experience working in a global, distributed team environment.
● Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to identify opportunities for improvement.
● Proactive and solutions-oriented professional with strong multitasking abilities,
capable of remaining composed and effective in fast-paced, high-pressure
environments.
● 5+ years of experience in the media and AdTech industry, with a strong focus on
managing and optimizing programmatic advertising campaigns.
● Deep expertise within the programmatic ecosystem, including hands-on
experience with SSPs, DSPs, and IAB standards and best practices.
● Highly autonomous and proactive professional with a strong sense of ownership,
able to take initiative, adapt quickly, and execute effectively in a fast-paced
environment.
