AI Engineer (Microsoft Foundry)

For a regulated financial services environment, we are looking for an experienced AI Platform Engineer to support the design, build and operation of a secure, enterprise-grade agentic AI engineering platform based on the Microsoft AI stack.

The role focuses on creating reusable platform capabilities that enable internal teams to build, deploy and operate AI and GenAI solutions in a standardized, secure and scalable way. This includes development environments, identity and networking patterns, governance guardrails, observability, and responsible AI practices.

The platform will support low-code, pro-code and hybrid delivery models across Microsoft 365 and Azure, helping the organization reduce architectural fragmentation, accelerate delivery and strengthen enterprise control in a regulated environment.

• Design, build and operate platform capabilities for enterprise AI and agentic AI solutions

• Establish standardized development and deployment environments for AI engineering teams

• Implement secure identity, access and networking patterns across Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365

• Define and apply governance guardrails for AI solution delivery

• Support the operationalization of GenAI and agentic AI applications using professional software lifecycle practices

• Enable observability, monitoring and production-readiness for AI-based solutions

• Support responsible AI practices and policy-driven governance

• Integrate data foundations and analytics capabilities into the AI platform

• Work closely with internal engineering, architecture, data and business teams

• Contribute to the evolution of the platform in line with Microsoft’s AI roadmap and enterprise requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure AI / Microsoft AI Foundry

• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate and Copilot Studio

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric

• Good understanding of enterprise AI, GenAI and agentic AI solution architectures

• Experience building secure and scalable cloud-based platforms

• Knowledge of identity, networking, governance and observability concepts in Azure environments

• Experience with regulated enterprise environments, ideally banking or financial services

• Ability to translate platform requirements into reusable engineering standards and patterns

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
