We are currently looking to expand our AIFM team in Luxembourg and searching for a motivated and detail oriented Analyst to join our team. This role gives ample opportunities to undertake client facing work and develop key skills in communication, teamwork and lateral thinking. As an Analyst, you will have the opportunity to support senior members of our Risk & Valuation team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform fund- and asset-level risk assessments and support ongoing risk monitoring activities
  • Review and challenge valuation models and valuation reports for private equity, real estate, infrastructure and debt assets
  • Prepare quarterly reporting on AIFM functions, such as portfolio management, risk management and valuation
  • Support oversight of delegated functions, ensuring activities are performed in line with fund documentation and regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to the monitoring of risk limits, KPIs and escalation of potential breaches
  • Assist in maintaining and documenting the risk and valuation oversight framework
  • Support interactions with fund administrators, investment managers and other service providers in relation to risk and valuation topics
  • Assist in the preparation of materials for internal committees and external stakeholders
  • Maintain client relationships through regular communication across in-person meetings, video calls and email.
  • Document key discussions and decisions in line with internal governance requirements

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting
  • Up to 1 year of relevant experience in AIFM, asset management, valuation, audit or similar environment
  • Basic understanding of risk management concepts and/or valuation principles in alternative investments
  • Strong analytical skills with a structured approach to problem solving
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and in a multi-stakeholder environment
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages are considered an asset
