Assistant Process Engineer

Green Valley Landfill Limited (GVL), a joint venture with Veolia Hong Kong & Macau, manages the South East New Territories (SENT) Landfill and its extension. GVL focuses on sustainable waste management, converting landfill gas into electricity, fuel, and synthetic natural gas.

Location: Tseung Kwan O

• Assist in defining process flows, operational requirements, and engineering specifications to improve current plant performance and efficiency
• Assist in routine maintenance work planning, critical spare parts sourcing, and inventory management, while coordinating cross-departmental process plant activities
• Execute routine documentation, data logging, and other technical or operational ad-hoc duties as assigned to support facility continuity
• Support on-site process optimization and/or troubleshooting through engineering evaluation
• Support internal machinery optimization, modification projects, and reliability checks to minimize equipment downtime
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Electrical/Mechanical/Building Services or Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Holder of Construction Safety (Green Card) Certificate is an advantage
• Holder other qualifications relative to industrial field are preferred

Additional Information

• 1-2 years of working experience in related fields or similar positions preferred
• Strong in analytical methods
• Detail-oriented with a critical degree of accuracy regarding analysis
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently and under pressure
