In a nutshell, the mission of an Operations Lending Associate in the current role will be performing loan booking operations & in life management activities within the available systems pertaining to Syndication, Agency, Bilateral Loan operations and LMA Docs.

Key Responsibilities
Execute loan booking accurately and in accordance with approved deal terms and documentation.
Manage in-life loan activities, including rate resets, interest and fee calculations, repayments, rollovers, prepayments, and amendment processing.
Review and interpret LMA (Loan Market Association) and other legal loan documents to ensure accurate setup and ongoing maintenance within the loan systems.
Coordinate with internal teams to resolve booking discrepancies, documentation queries, and any other related issues.
Maintain and update loan management systems, ensuring data integrity and timely processing of transactions.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit standards, and regulatory requirements throughout all operational processes.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce risk.
Required Experience & Skills
2–5 years of hands-on experience in loan operations, lending operations, or middle/back-office functions within a bank or financial institution.
Strong understanding of loan lifecycle management, including disbursements, repayments, interest rate resets, and fee processing.
Experience working with Syndicated, Agency, and Bilateral loans, and familiarity with LMA documentation.
Proficiency in accountancy and financial reconciliations, with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to identify and mitigate operational risks.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Basic working knowledge of Microsoft tools like Excel
A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous learning and process enhancement.
