The Barista serves as both a skilled beverage maker and a customer ambassador, ensuring that every interaction leaves guests feeling cared for and appreciated.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a range of specialty coffee drinks including espressos, cappuccinos, lattes, and frappuccinos – as well as fresh smoothies, rotating between the Café and Smoothie Bar as needed.
- Ensure all display cases are fully stocked, visually appealing, and reflective of the premium quality of our offerings.
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and organization at the coffee bar, including fridges, floors, counters, machines, and equipment.
- Deliver service that feels personal, polished, and genuine, ensuring customers feel cared for and appreciated.
- Present beverages and food items with an eye for detail, elevating even the simplest order into a thoughtful experience.
- Anticipate guest needs by offering suggestions, answering questions knowledgeably, and creating memorable moments that encourage repeat visits.
- Embody the values of hospitality, attentiveness, and pride in presentation that define our store’s reputation.

Qualifications:
- Previous barista or specialty beverage experience preferred; a passion for coffee, smoothies and customer service is essential.

- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
- A polished, professional approach with a genuine enthusiasm for serving others.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable with frequent lifting, bending, and moving of items up to 25 lbs.
