Our approach centers on upstream prevention of mental distress and the promotion of mental well-being.


As our newBilingual Program Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in delivering and adapting national youth mental health programming across both English and French communities. You’ll bring our Community programs and Jack Talks to life for youth leaders across Canada ensuring meaningful, inclusive, and culturally relevant engagement with Francophone youth. Position:Bilingual Program Coordinator

Reporting to:VP, Programs, Impact, and Advocacy

Location: Hybrid/Remote (Canada-wide)

Salary:$52,000 - $55,000

Status: Full-Time, 6-Month Contract


About You:

  • You arefully bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written, with strong translation and cultural adaptation skills
  • You have1–3 years of experiencein program coordination, youth engagement, community development, or education, ideally within a mental health context
  • You thrive both independently and within a collaborative team environment, and are excited to support youth-led initiatives across Canada

Your Impact:

The Bilingual Program Coordinator is instrumental in the delivery of Jack.org’s Talks and Community Programming across Canada, with a specific focus on Francophone support, cultural adaptation, and youth mentorship. You’ll help make our programming truly bilingual and equitable by ensuring French-speaking communities are empowered, represented, and well-supported.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Jack Talks (30%)

  • Coordinate all aspects of Jack Talks (in-person and virtual), from request to post-event follow-up
  • Match speakers to events, arrange logistics, and provide logistic and tech support
  • Train and recertify speakers to confidently share their mental health stories
  • Troubleshoot any event issues and ensure a smooth, positive experience for all
  • Work closely with Program Lead to ensure speakers are prepped and ready for each talk delivery

Jack Communities (30%)

  • Support Jack Communities across a designated region by ensuring they have completed required administrative tasks, such as registration and activity form submission throughout the year
  • Check in with your Jack Communities periodically throughout the year, according to the established preference to log their progress
  • Provide an overview of the Chapters program through Intake Calls with teachers, young leaders, and community groups that are looking to start a Chapter
  • Provide ongoing mentorship and guidance to youth leaders and partner organizations
  • Support delivery of workshops, gatherings, and capacity-building events

Francophone Support & Translation (25%)

  • Translate and adapt resources, training, and communications for Francophone audiences
  • Ensure cultural and linguistic accuracy in all French program content
  • Provide interpretation during events and meetings when needed
  • Support recruitment for Francophone youth leaders, onboarding, and mentorship
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure equal access to all materials in French

Design and Outreach (15%)

  • Promote Jack Talks and help recruit speakers to meet regional goals
  • Share feedback from the field to help improve programs and participant experience
  • Contribute to updating toolkits, training resources, and workshops
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance accessibility and engagement

Cross-Program Responsibilities

  • Maintain organized, accurate records in Salesforce (our CRM)
  • Stay current on youth mental health trends in your region
  • Follow organizational policies and safety procedures
  • Represent Jack.org positively and professionally in all interactions
  • Collaborate across teams to support seamless transitions between programs
  • Take on additional tasks as needed to support the team

Desired skills, competencies

  • Fully bilingual in English and French (oral and written) with strong translation/adaptation skills
  • 1-3 years of experience in program coordination, youth engagement, community development, or education, especially with a mental health background
  • Excellent coordination, attention to detail, organization and time management skills
  • Ability and/or experience working with youth; knowledge and experience in youth engagement, and program delivery
  • Comfortable with independent work, but also works well within a team environment
  • Proactive, reliable and self-motivated
  • Strong and consistent communication skills for internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with and commitment to applying equity, diversity, inclusion principles to work and workplace
  • Flexibility and availability to occasionally host meetings or events in the evenings or on weekends (flex hours or lieu time provided)

This position is based in Toronto and typically follows a hybrid work model, however, candidates based elsewhere in Canada may also be considered for a fully remote arrangement. This is a full-time, 6 month contract role.
