About the Opportunity
Dentons Business Services EMEA is currently seeking an Intern to join our Finance Team. This is a great opportunity for a positive, proactive individual with a can-do attitude and a strong desire to learn. As an intern, you’ll gain first-hand insight into how the Finance department operates within a global law firm environment.
About the Role
- Supporting the billing team with day-to-day tasks related to the billing process (providing flexible assistance with ad hoc duties)
- Generating and preparing billing documents such as proformas and simple invoice drafts
- Verifying and updating data and documents in internal systems
- Performing quality checks on data entered into internal systems
- Generating reports
- Drafting email communications in English, creating manuals and refreshers, and updating procedures
- Assisting with internal projects and campaigns
Requirements
- University student, ideally with a focus on economics, finance, or a related field
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational, data, and reporting skills
- A critical thinker with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Able to work independently and take initiative
- A team player with a collaborative approach
- Availability minimum 30 hours per week
