Build/Test Environment Support Engineer

Role:- Build/Test Environment Support Engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/CHALLENGES:

·Perform deployment for multiple environments and applications in eChannels space

·Maintenance of build scripts

·Perform code merger (Java and UNIX Shell scripts) from multiple sources – vendors, in-house development teams

·Take up ownership of all environment issues in SIT (system integration testing) and UAT (user acceptance testing) environments

·Investigate SIT and UAT defects

·Maintenance of SIT and UAT system configurations

Experience/Skills Required:

·Should have a technical degree holder in Computer Science/Computer Engineering, local universities preferred (NUS, NTU, SMU)

·5 years working experience in system and users support for internet facing applications

·Strong team player, effective in communications

·Ability to multi task and work across different applications

·Must be a quick self-learner and possess ability to work independently.

·Demonstrated proficiency in Unix, Java Programming (J2EE), Oracle SQL, Oracle Web Logic, Apache Webserver

·Knowledge of multi-tier systems in general (Application server, middleware, backend)

·Understanding of Web based technologies, Networks

·Experience with JENKINS, ANT, Clear Case/Clear Quest, Aldon preferred.
