Key Requirements/Responsibilities:
- 8+ years of experience in business development, ideally within the Insurance sector, including both traditional insurers and Insurtechs.
- Underdentify and develop new business opportunities, building trusted relationships with key stakeholders.
- Stay informed about industry trends, attend relevant events, and engage with potential clients via social platforms like LinkedIn.
- Manage multiple sales opportunities through the full cycle, from prospecting to closing.
- Work closely with the Business Development Director while managing tasks independently.
- Contribute to compelling proposals that align with client needs.
- Collaborate on targeted campaigns with internal business development and enablement teams.
- Apply both strategic thinking and tactical execution.
Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in the Insurance industry, particularly in business development or solution delivery.
- Background in digital transformation projects or custom software solutions.
- Understanding of near-shoring or distributed delivery models.
- Interest or experience in software engineering-related projects.
- Strong consultative approach, excellent communication, and negotiation skills.
- **Fluency in both German and English **, with the ability to articulate technical/functional requirements.
- Willingness to travel within and outside the EU as needed.
