About this role

Your tasks

We are looking for a Business Development Manager in or around Madrid to identify, contact and negotiate agreements in the automotive industry sector (B2B) with a specific focus on the Car Dealer vertical. The objective is to increase the visibility and penetration of CARFAX in the Spanish market among the car dealers.

  • Identify potential partners and opportunities in the B2B business, secure meetings with them and introduce the CARFAX models, services & value propositions
  • Support the growing demand from Car Dealers and cooperate closely with our central functions to drive growth in this segment
  • Implement our wholesale-/ reseller strategy to assure convenient access to our core product, the Vehicle History Reports
  • Negotiate contract terms that protect and grow the products, financial interests and re-sources of CARFAX
  • Work closely with our Business Development teams in other European markets
  • Represent CARFAX at various local conferences



Your profile

  • 5+ years of relevant job experience in Sales/Business Development
  • Experience working in an automotive related branch
  • Product Management and high-level negotiating experience
  • Output driven, results oriented and hands-on working style
  • Strong communicator and proactive approach
  • Excellent language skills in Spanish and English
  • Ability and desire to work in an international team
  • Ability to travel as required by the position (up to 50%)
