Position Overview
We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Business Development Representative to generate new business opportunities while managing and growing existing customer accounts within the concrete pumping and construction industry. This role is ideal for someone who understands construction operations, communicates confidently with contractors and project managers, and can successfully balance lead generation with long-term account management
. Key Responsibilities
Business Development Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, referrals, networking, and social media outreach. Develop and maintain a pipeline of contractors, builders, and construction companies. Schedule meetings and presentations with prospective clients. Generate qualified leads and convert them into long-term customers. Track opportunities and follow-up activities within CRM systems.
Account Management Manage and maintain relationships with existing clients. Serve as the primary point of contact for customer needs and project coordination. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within current accounts. Coordinate with operations and dispatch teams to ensure smooth project execution. Resolve customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Market & Industry Engagement Stay informed about construction projects, market activity, and competitor trends. Build strong relationships with general contractors, project managers, estimators, and field teams. Represent the company at industry events, networking opportunities, and job sites.
Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management. Construction industry experience strongly preferred. Experience in concrete pumping, ready-mix, heavy equipment, or related fields is a plus. Bilingual in English and Spanish required. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously. Experience with CRM systems and sales tracking too ls.Self-motivated with strong organizational skil ls.Comfortable working both in the field and in an office environment.
