Responsibilities
In summary, the BSA is responsible for the following:
- Product Architecture
- Elicit and translate client requirements
- Develop and maintain customer design documentation
- Coach and mentor consultants on executing project design
- Provide product expertise
- Maintain/share implementation and design best practices knowledge base
- Cross functional project work
- Product Planning
- Customer advocate to product management group
- Involved in functional specification review
- Marketing
- Sharing industry vertical knowledge
- Development of solution offers, based on non-core business problems
- Professional Services
- Continual improvement on implementation methodology
- Pre Sales Support
- Support Sales Engineers, in POC activities
- Conduct pre sales project analysis
Qualifications
Educational and typical years experience needed for this role.
- Bachelor's degree with 5-8 years' experience in a business or technical consulting role
- 3+ years' experience in a complex software environment
- Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and financial statement preparation
- Working knowledge and experience in corporate budgeting and forecasting processes
- Strong business analysis experience including requirements eliciting and analysis as well as working knowledge of BABOK
- Practical experience working with Microsoft SQL Server 2000/05/08 and Analysis Services 2000/05/08
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Superior analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong organizational ability is required as the candidate will be required to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada and must be able to travel to the United States
