Volunteer Community Café Support

Location: Broadway URC Church, 2 Gillity Avenue, Walsall, WS5 3PH
Hours: Bi-weekly Tuesdays, 10:00am – 12:30pm
Age Requirement: 18+

We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic volunteer to support our Community Café on a bi-weekly basis. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive difference in the local community while helping to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for our visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with setting up the venue before the café opens
• Preparing and serving tea, coffee, and light snacks
• Engaging with clients and helping them feel welcome
• Supporting the smooth running of the café throughout the session
• Assisting with tidying up at the end of the session

Qualifications

About You

• Aged 18 or over
• Friendly, approachable, and confident interacting with people
• Positive attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed
• Reliable and able to work as part of a team
• Experience within the care sector is not essential but would be beneficial
