Care Assistant - Cowbridge Evenings and Weekends £13.00
We are looking for 'people people' to work with older people to improve their quality of life in their own homes in Cowbridge and surrounding areas. You would be joining a small, family run home care company, who have won multiple awards over the years and built an excellent reputation in the local area. This home care service with the personal touch is different to any other care organisation in the area, providing a minimum of 1 hour home visits to regular clients. The role is varied; you might be helping someone with their daily personal care routines, help around the home, support with food or medication, or accompany clients out and about. Hours are from 4 pm over 4 weekday days and every other weekend, minimum 16 hours per week.
We offer:
- Pay rate of £12.00 to £13.00 per hour, earn up to £24.00 per hour on Bank Holidays.
- Paid travel time plus paid mileage between clients.
- A range of guaranteed hours contracts available e.g.: 16, 30 hours p/week. Or zero-hours to suit your availability.
- Paid holiday, even on a zero-hour contract.
- Paid on the job training and shadowing.
- Regular working pattern with the same Clients.
- 24/7 on call support and a friendly and supportive office team.
- Regular team meetings, training updates and support visits.

Qualifications
Qualifications are not essential as full award winning training will be given.
Candidates will need a valid, full Driving Licence with access to a vehicle due to rural nature of our client base and the number of clients that include going out as part of their service.
