Job Duties:
- Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
- measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
- Confident in measuring and the use of tape measures, levels, and angle finding
- Ability to use power tools such as saws, drills, grinders, etc.
- Building pressure treated, cedar and composite/PVC decks, stairs, fences, privacy screens, pergolas, benches, gates, etc.
- Construct decks, fences, pergolas, and concrete framework
- Enforce policies and procedures for all on site personnel
- Snow removal in the winter
Terms of Employment:
- Full time permanent

- Wage: $36.00, annual bonuses
- Benefits package offered: Medical extended benefits after 3 months, company will pay 50%. Dental plan after 3 months, company will pay 50%.

Skills /Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 3+ years experience as a carpenter
- Intermediate First Aid Certificate
- Ground Disturbance II
- CSTS 2020
- Whmis 2015
- Be proficient in English, both verbally and written
- Have a valid class 5 driver's license (or class 3 or class 1)
- Have a clean drivers abstract (3 or less demerits)
- Capable of working with minimum supervision
- Motivated, hard working, punctual
- Physically fit
- Familiar with the maintenance and use of various woodworking tools (table saw, mitre saw, circular saw, drills, etc.)
- Gas powered tool maintenance and operation
- Safe truck and trailer loading and operation
