Our client, a growing company in the reinsurance sector is looking for an experienced Claims Administrator.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Process and administer non-life claims
  • Communicate with stakeholders to gather necessary information and resolve queries related to claims
  • Collaborate and negotiate with reinsurers to facilitate claim settlements in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of claims, payments, and correspondence in the claims management system
  • Assist the claims team in their duties
  • General office duties and ad hoc tasks as required

Requirements

  • Holder of a University Degree (LLB, Law & Management, Management, Finance with Law or any other degree commensurate with the job requirements)
  • Having 2 years of insurance industry experience (non life)
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication
  • Proficient in using claims management systems and MS Office Suite
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Proficiency in English and French (both verbal and written)
