Class 1 Local Pick up & Delivery Driver, Home Nightly!

• The driver is responsible for the timely delivery and pickup of freight within the Hinton and Jasper area
• Shift is Tuesday to Saturday
• Start time of 5 am on weekdays and 5 AM  on Saturday
• Average working hours are 9 to 10 hours a day. 
• Some flexibility required to meet customers' requirements
• Pre and post-trip inspections of equipment    
• Home every night

Qualifications

• Class 1 license
• 1 year of experience
• Reliable and dependable
• Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly at various customers.
•  Operate GPS and communication devices
• Knowledge of the Hinton and Jasper area is an asset
• Ability to maneuver a 48ft tailgate trailer into tight areas in Jasper to complete deliveries
• Must be willing to relocate to Hinton
• Deck experience is an asset
• TDG, WHMIS, and Forklift experience are an asset
• Must be able to provide a criminal record check, driver's abstract, 2 work-related references
