We are a fast-paced, high-volume multi-disciplinary practice looking for someone to join our team! We are looking for a versatile candidate who is willing to learn clinical and front office tasks. Employees are put into a rotation which requires knowledge in both areas.
Job Description: Clinical Assistant
- Helps patients by providing information, services, and assistance.
- Verifies patient information by triaging patients, recording medical history, and confirming the purpose of the visit.
- Does office prep including calling for medical reports and preparing charts for appointments
- Prepares patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature; and reporting patient history summary.
- Inputs physician’s orders
- Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt.
- Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs.
Responsibilities:
- Update and maintain all digital patient records
- Prep patient charts before their appointments
- Checking patient in and out
- General understanding of our billing process
- General understanding of our insurance process
- Rescheduling appointments when needed
- Assist the manager in maintaining the medical inventory and placing orders for new materials as needed
- All other duties assigned by the physician
- Travel between offices may be required
Medical Assistant Qualifications/Skills:

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- 1+ years in a medical office
- Experience with EMR (electronic medical records), medical terminology
