We are a fast-paced, high-volume multi-disciplinary practice looking for someone to join our team! We are looking for a versatile candidate who is willing to learn clinical and front office tasks. Employees are put into a rotation which requires knowledge in both areas.



Job Description: Clinical Assistant

  • Helps patients by providing information, services, and assistance.
  • Verifies patient information by triaging patients, recording medical history, and confirming the purpose of the visit.
  • Does office prep including calling for medical reports and preparing charts for appointments
  • Prepares patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature; and reporting patient history summary.
  • Inputs physician’s orders
  • Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt.
  • Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs.



Responsibilities:

  • Update and maintain all digital patient records
  • Prep patient charts before their appointments
  • Checking patient in and out
  • General understanding of our billing process
  • General understanding of our insurance process
  • Rescheduling appointments when needed
  • Assist the manager in maintaining the medical inventory and placing orders for new materials as needed
  • All other duties assigned by the physician
  • Travel between offices may be required

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  • 1+ years in a medical office
  • Experience with EMR (electronic medical records), medical terminology
