PURPOSE
Senior technical expert responsible for design and implementation of an assigned technology.
We are seeking an experienced HCI Architect/Senior Consultant specializing in data center, network, and VMware technologies to design and optimize scalable, secure IT infrastructure aligned with business goals. The role also involves guiding customers through HCI assessments and service scoping for Nutanix and VMware platforms, translating business and technical requirements into clear, outcome-driven engagements while ensuring operational readiness and consistent delivery standards.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Customer Intent & Requirement Ownership
- Lead structured discovery to capture business drivers, workload requirements, and Day-2 operational expectations
- Define functional and non-functional requirements covering performance, availability, security, compliance, and lifecycle
- Establish and maintain agreed assumptions, constraints, and dependencies for SD-WAN solutions
- Act as the authoritative reference for customer intent throughout the engagement
Service Scope & Engagement Definition
- Translate customer intent into a clearly defined Network Modernization – SD-WAN engagement scope
- Align requirements with standardized service offerings and delivery models
- Define success criteria and scope boundaries to prevent ambiguity or unmanaged scope expansion
- Support effort estimation and service structuring in pre-sales and delivery preparation
Design Intent Governance (Non-Design Ownership)
- Provide architects with validated requirements, constraints, and operational context
- Participate in design reviews to ensure architectural outcomes align with agreed intent and scope
- Validate inclusion of performance, availability, lifecycle, and resilience requirements
- Ensure SD-WAN integration considerations are understood where HCI platforms connect to distributed or edge environments
Delivery Outcome Alignment (Non-Execution Role)
- Validate that delivered outcomes align with approved scope, architecture intent, and service definitions
- Identify and communicate misalignment risks between intent, design, and delivered solution
- Act as customer-facing authority for acceptance criteria and outcome alignment
- Escalate scope or intent deviations through governance channels without managing delivery tasks
Day-2 Readiness & Automation Awareness
- Ensure operational requirements (monitoring, lifecycle, scaling, support boundaries) are captured and reflected in design intent
- Validate that handover expectations support stable Day-2 operations
- Maintain awareness of SD-WAN dependencies and Ansible-based automation opportunities
- Coordinate with network and automation specialists without owning technical design or implementation
Pre-Sales & Portfolio Contribution
- Support technical pre-sales discussions and solution framing
- Contribute to service descriptions, delivery templates, and engagement standards
- Feed customer insights into service and portfolio evolution within the Sovereign Infrastructure and HCI offering
Qualifications
YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:
- Have strong understanding of HCI architectures integrating compute, storage, resilience, and lifecycle management across on-premises, edge, and private cloud environments. Experience: 4-6 years
- Experience positioning and governing Nutanix-based HCI solutions (AOS, AHV, Prism) from a requirements, design-intent, and service-fit perspective. Experience: 3-5 years
- Have working knowledge of VMware Cloud Foundation including vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and SDDC lifecycle management, sufficient to validate architectural intent and delivery alignment. Experience: 3-5 years
- Understand enterprise networking fundamentals and SD-WAN concepts where HCI platforms integrate with distributed or edge connectivity models. Experience: 2-4 years
- Are familiar with operational requirements such as monitoring, lifecycle, scaling, and service handover. Experience: 3-5 years
- Have conceptual understanding of Ansible-based automation for infrastructure provisioning, configuration and lifecycle workflows. Experience: 1-3 years
- Are able to lead structured customer discovery sessions and translate business intent into technical requirements. Experience: 4-6 years
- Def. of clear service scopes, success criteria, and engagement boundaries aligned with standardized offerings. Experience: 3-5 years
- Have ability to ensure consistent alignment between customer intent, architectural design and delivered outcomes without owning architecture or delivery execution. Experience: 3-5 years
- Have strong communication skills with customer technical stakeholders, architects, engineers, and internal teams. Experience: 4-6 years
- Certifications (Mandatory):
VMware Certified Professional – Cloud Foundation (VCP-VCF)
Nutanix Certified Professional – Multi-cloud Infrastructure (NCP-MCI) - Speak English - B2+ level

Salary
Final salary is negotiable.
We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 2 200 € /brutto.
