About this role
Addiction Recovery Medical Services is seeking a compassionate and experienced Certified Nurse Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant to join our team of medical service providers devoted to treating Substance Use Disorder. We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping others and dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those struggling with substance abuse.
Responsibilities
- Assist the nursing staff with caring for patients during their detoxification process
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature
- Document patient progress and report any significant changes to the medical team
- Assist with the intake process, including obtaining medical histories and assisting with diagnostic testing
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
Requirements
- Current certification as a Nurse Assistant or MOA in the state of North Carolina
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic pharmacology
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow direction
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Early office hours
