Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- Make a high volume of outbound collection calls to individuals who are in arrears with various Creditors, include negotiating repayment plans, providing financial advice and payment options and direction
- Reconcile customer disputes as they pertain to payment of outstanding balances
- Send delinquency notices
- Monitor and maintain assigned accounts within our Computerized Collection System
- basic skip trace techniques to locate new or updated contact information for Clients
- Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to the Collection Department
- Meet monthly and daily department goals
- Adhere to Collection legislation
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills
- Goal-oriented, energetic and self motivated
- Previous experience in telephone sales, call centre, etc
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in debt collection, an asset
