Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Construction Manager to oversee and manage their site operations in both petrochemical and general construction projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily site construction operations, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and permit-to-work processes.
- Independently prepare Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and comprehensive HSE documentation.
- Effectively manage and coordinate supervisors, team leaders, and subcontractors to achieve project goals.
- Compile and submit detailed daily progress reports, maintaining accurate and current project documentation.
- Interpret and apply engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project plans with precision.
- Strategically plan, schedule, and track construction milestones to ensure timely project completion.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, HSE, and project management teams to swiftly resolve on-site technical challenges and delays.
- Oversee procurement, control, and management of site materials, tools, and equipment efficiently.
- Lead and participate in site meetings with engineers, clients, and key project stakeholders to maintain clear communication and alignment.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of Bills of Quantities (BOQ), including accurate quantity verification and ongoing tracking.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in construction or site management roles.
- Possession of a valid Code 8 driver’s licence.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven capability to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Desirable: Experience in petrochemical or industrial project environments and relevant HSE or construction certifications.
