About this role

Responsible for specifying the requirements, and proper execution to meet these requirements, with respect to cleanliness of systems and parts. Focus area is particle and organic surface cleanliness related to Semicon wafer production equipment.

  • Develop and implement contamination control protocols and procedures for the cleanroom environment, including but not limited to cleanroom etiquette, gowning requirements, and materials, in accordance with ISO standards and industry best practices.
  • Define, implement and analyze cleanroom particle counting and other contamination testing, including specification, control limits and test methods, to evaluate the effectiveness of contamination control measures inside the cleanroom.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the cleanroom to identify potential sources of contamination or deviations from contamination control protocols, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Liaise with facility department to monitor and maintain cleanroom and related equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with cleanroom standards.
  • Advise internal stakeholders and external contractors on cleanroom concept, design requirements and build specifications for cleanroom facility expansion and renovations.
  • Develop and establish, together with the Process Engineer, clean assembly work methods, as well as cleanliness-related inspection and test processes, to mitigate the risk of contamination during assembly and to verify product cleanliness.
  • Lead in resolving internal and customer quality complaints on issues related to the cleanliness of products, so that product quality and system delivery requirements can be met.
  • Develop and deliver specific technical training materials to engineers and production personnel on contamination control procedures and best practices, including gowning procedures, clean working methods, material handling, and cleanroom etiquette.
  • Support and participate in company continuous improvement program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline
  • 3 to 5 years of working experience in a cleanroom environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
  • Lean Six Sigma training is preferred
  • Attention to detail in material handling within a cleanroom environment
