Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead and manage the financial operations of a growing food manufacturing business. Key Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle accounting across multiple locations using QuickBooks and Google Sheets
  • Prepare, analyze, and consolidate location-level P&Ls and company-wide financial reporting
  • Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
  • Oversee cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Partner with operations and production teams to understand cost structures, inventory flows, and manufacturing KPIs
  • Consolidate financial data from multiple entities or system instances into clear leadership reporting
  • Support audits, tax filings, and other compliance-related initiatives
  • Build and maintain financial models and scenario analyses for internal planning and investor reporting
  • Lead ad hoc financial projects that improve operational efficiency and financial clarity

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Controller or senior accounting leader, ideally within food manufacturing or CPG
  • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Google Sheets (Excel), including automated reporting and dashboard development
  • Strong experience managing multi-location accounting with separate P&Ls
  • Demonstrated ability to consolidate financial data across multiple entities or systems
  • Deep understanding of inventory accounting, cost of goods sold, and manufacturing finance
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to operate independently while serving as a trusted financial partner to leadership
