About this role
This is a first shift position, and will report from 6:00am - 4:30pm on a 4/10 schedule.
Expertise and Functions
- Fabricate commercial or military aircraft parts, accessories, and trim in accordance with technical specifications and Work Control Documents
- Work with a variety of materials, such as resins, carbon fiber, bonding, honeycomb fabric, and fiberglass
- Demonstrate attention to detail while working with various composite materials in all aspects of the composite process, including: crafting, sanding, assembly, clean room etiquette, class A oven, paint booth and autoclave
- Work with composites, using pre-preg and wet lay-ups
- Paint and finish parts to specifications
- Use hand and power tools to produce aircraft products
- Work both independently and as part of a team
- Follow written instructions precisely
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education/Training:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Composite Course Certificate or equivalent experience preperred
Experience:
- 3+ years of professional experience in the required task area required
- Experience in painting composite parts preferred
- Experience in injection mold processes preferred
- Ability to interpret military specifications, FAA regulations and read/understand aircraft drawings/blueprints
- Knowledge of in-process inspection procedures, inspection of parts/assemblies to meet military specifications
- Desktop skills
Security:
- Must be a US citizen
- Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of standing and moving to accomplish workload
- Must be able to regularly lift and move up to 30 pounds independently, up to 50 pounds with assistance
- Must follow company safety rules and procedures including, but not limited to, PPE, emergency procedures, and lockout/tagout procedures

Salary:
The projected salary range for this position is $20 - $25/hour. This is not a guarantee of compensation, rather actual salary will be based on experience, qualifications, and applicable certifications or degrees held. Offered salary may fall outside of this range.
