The Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative plays a key role in driving customer satisfaction and business growth by supporting industrial customers with fluid conveyance solutions. This position blends customer service, inside sales, and technical support in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll act as a trusted partner to customers—understanding their needs, delivering practical solutions, and ensuring a seamless experience from inquiry through delivery. Success requires strong attention to detail, responsiveness, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Essential Functions

  • Sell industrial hose, gasket, and piping products while maintaining and growing customer accounts
  • Process inbound orders via phone, email, and online systems
  • Enter and manage orders and quotes within the company’s ERP system
  • Highlight product features and benefits, provide pricing, and prepare sales orders
  • Estimate delivery timelines based on production schedules and inventory availability
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in the company database
  • Partner with account managers to ensure account activity and follow-up actions are current
  • Conduct outbound prospecting to identify new business opportunities and promote value-added services
  • Investigate and resolve customer issues related to orders, shipments, and deliveries
  • Experience, Education and Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years of customer service or inside sales experience, preferably in industrial distribution or manufacturing
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with ERP systems
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of industrial or hydraulic hose, gasket, or fluid conveyance products is a plus
