Description
The Dynamics 365 Customer CRM Consultant supports the implementation and configuration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions that help organizations transform how they engage customers across sales, service, and the broader customer lifecycle.
This role works closely with Solution Architects, Functional Leads, and delivery teams to translate business requirements into practical system configurations within the Dynamics 365 and Power Platform ecosystem. The Functional Consultant plays a hands-on role in configuring applications, supporting solution design, and ensuring the platform supports scalable business processes.
We are looking for driven, high-performing individuals who demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, curiosity, and a desire to grow within a consulting environment. Candidates should be eager to deepen their expertise in the Microsoft ecosystem while contributing meaningfully to enterprise transformation programs.
In addition to supporting client engagements, the Functional Consultant contributes to the continued growth of the Customer Engagement (CE) practice by building technical expertise, supporting internal knowledge sharing, and helping develop reusable solution assets.

Solution Configuration & Implementation

  • Configure Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement applications to support business requirements across sales, service, and customer engagement scenarios.
  • Build and configure components within the Power Platform ecosystem, including Dataverse tables, model-driven apps, Power Automate workflows, and security roles.
  • Support the design and configuration of business processes, workflows, and automation within the platform.
  • Assist with system testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure solutions function effectively and meet business needs.
  • Requirements Analysis & Solution Support

  • Work with project teams and client stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into system capabilities.
  • Support documentation of functional requirements, user stories, and configuration specifications.
  • Assist Solution Architects and Functional Leads in validating that proposed solutions align with business processes and technical architecture.
  • Participate in solution demonstrations, working sessions, and feedback sessions with stakeholders.
  • Implementation & Delivery Support

  • Support implementation activities including configuration, data preparation, testing, and deployment.
  • Assist with system integration validation, user acceptance testing, and issue resolution.
  • Help ensure solutions are designed for usability and scalability across business teams.
  • Contribute to the development of training materials and support user adoption activities
  • Practice Development & Learning

  • Continuously develop expertise in Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, Power Platform, and related Microsoft technologies.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, documentation, and development of reusable solution assets.
  • Stay informed on new platform capabilities, AI-enabled features, and emerging CE technologies within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Demonstrate initiative in learning new tools and capabilities that enhance the firm’s CE delivery capabilities.
  • Support internal initiatives that strengthen the CE practice as it continues to grow.
  • Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement or related CRM platforms.
  • Hands-on experience configuring Dynamics 365 applications or Power Platform components.
  • Experience supporting software implementation or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on Dynamics 365 configuration and platform understanding

  • Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of industry specific best practices
  • Industry and/or consulting experience
  • Exposure to CRM-related business processes such as sales operations, customer service workflows, or customer lifecycle management.
  • Power Platform Functional Consultant certification (PL-200, MB-210, or related) preferred, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
