Data Scientist

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Scientist to design, develop, and deploy advanced analytics and AI solutions that generate measurable business impact. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in data science and machine learning, paired with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. While this role is primarily hands-on and technical, the Data Scientist will also contribute to project delivery, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and implement machine learning models, predictive analytics, and AI solutions to solve business challenges.
• Conduct data analysis, feature engineering, and experimentation to deliver actionable insights.
• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows.
• Support product and project management activities by contributing to requirement definitions, sprint planning, and backlog refinement.
• Present clear, impactful data stories and visualizations to business stakeholders using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent.
• Ensure data quality, reproducibility, and ethical AI practices across projects.
• Stay up to date with emerging data science and AI techniques, applying innovative methods where relevant.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior data scientists or analysts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 2–4 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or applied AI roles.
• Proven experience building and deploying data science or AI models with measurable outcomes.
• Strong proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience with data visualization and storytelling tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with agile project methodologies and collaboration within cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of data governance and best practices in model evaluation and monitoring.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic, both verbal and written.
