About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Database Engineer to join a dynamic team in Stockholm. This role requires a strong blend of database expertise and application development experience, with a focus on designing, optimizing, and maintaining high-performance data systems. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and capable of solving complex technical challenges while collaborating across diverse teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable database solutions

• Optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and efficient schema design

• Collaborate with development teams to integrate database solutions with .NET-based applications

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex database and application issues

• Ensure data integrity, security, and reliability across systems

• Analyze existing systems and recommend improvements for performance and scalability

• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to best practices

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on development experience with C# and the .NET framework

• Deep expertise in relational databases, particularly SQL and PostgreSQL

• Proven experience in database design, performance tuning, and optimization

• Solid understanding of data modeling, indexing strategies, and query optimization techniques

• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues

• Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams

• Self-driven, proactive, and able to take full ownership of tasks and deliverables
