Deli Supervisor

We are looking for a full time Deli Supervisor to join the team at SPAR Tonlegee Road.

The Deli Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the deli department, ensuring high standards of food safety, customer service, and team performance. This role involves supervising staff, maintaining product quality, and driving sales while ensuring compliance with company and health regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support deli team members, including training and rostering

• Ensure excellent customer service and handle queries or complaints

• Maintain full compliance with food safety, HACCP, and hygiene standards

• Monitor stock levels, ordering, rotation (FIFO), and minimise waste

• Ensure deli displays are well presented and fully stocked

• Support sales targets and promote products

• Ensure smooth daily operations in line with company procedures

Requirements

• Previous deli/retail experience (supervisory experience desirable)

• Knowledge of food safety and HACCP standards

• Strong communication and team leadership skills

• Flexible to work shifts, including weekends
