Design Manager

Summary:

• Will develop, check, and review all finished deliverables with the Project Manager and/or Survey & Mapping Manager for Quality Assurance and Quality control.
• Will coordinate the development, checking, and submittal of alignment sheets, property plats, detailed construction drawings, site specific exhibits, and permit drawings as specified by the client or project manager
• Will coordinate a remote team of drafters and survey data technicians
• Will coordinate deed plotting and boundary rectification with PLS
• Will perform and coordinate checking of drawing packages and other deliverables
• Will provide timely progress reporting and forecasting

Required Skills and Experience:

• Must have a minimum of 12 years of experience in Mapping and Pipeline Design
• Must be proficient in the use of AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Excel, and GIS Systems
• Must have a firm understand the process of preparing ‘Issued for Construction’ pipeline drawing packages
• Strong understanding of pipeline design, permitting, easement acquisition, and bore/HDD drawings
• Strong understanding of PLSS land system, as well as other regional land systems
• Previous experience working on natural gas pipeline projects is required
• Bluesky (Skyline/Lightning), Plat Mapper, ArcPro, and scripting experience is a plus
