Despatch / Storeperson

About the Role

This is a practical, busy role where you will keep our warehouse moving. You will be responsible for getting orders ready and making sure stock gets exactly where it needs to go. Hours: Monday to Friday, day shift (approx. 8:30/9:00am – 5:00/5:30pm).

What You'll Be Doing

• Order Picking – Supporting daily picking activities to keep orders flowing
• Local Deliveries – Coordinating local delivery runs across the region
• Outside Freight – Booking and managing external transport providers
• South Island Transfers – Coordinating stock movements throughout the South Island
• Customer Service – Looking after call-in customers at the trade counter

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience in a busy despatch, warehouse, or logistics environment
• Good organisational skills to keep track of daily orders.
• Confident, friendly communicator (couriers, customers, and the team)
• A calm head under pressure and a sharp eye for accuracy
• Reliability and pride in a job well done
• Forklift licence (F endorsement) — advantageous
• Currently residing in NZ or holding a valid work visa
• Willing to complete a pre-employment medical and drug screen
