About this role

Key Responsibilities 1. Hardware Technology Route and Component Development: o Work closely with the adaptive passive safety system team to lead the technical route planning, development, and selection of in-cabin multimodal sensors, including but not limited to cameras, microwave radars, occupant posture sensors (occupant position/weight/angle), etc., as well as the formulation of hardware specifications. o Be responsible for the development of key sensors, technical assessment, management, and cooperation with suppliers, and drive the hardware solution to meet automotive-grade quality and cost requirements. 2. System Integration and Functional Safety Decomposition: o Decompose and inherit ASIL-level functional safety requirements to the perception hardware system, and be responsible for defining the hardware safety architecture and redundancy mechanisms. o Develop and verify hardware interface specifications, data transmission protocols, and performance indicators to ensure the bandwidth and transmission capability of perception data in the domain controller architecture. o Be responsible for the system integration of perception hardware, hardware-in-the-loop (HiL) testing, and problem diagnosis to ensure system functionality and reliability. 3. Performance and Strategy Synergy: o Develop and execute strict hardware performance acceptance tests, including robustness verification in different environments, to meet OEM customer requirements. o Work closely with the algorithm and software teams to ensure that hardware data (such as high-precision 3D occupant posture) can be reliably converted into safety strategy inputs required by the constraint system. 4. Research and Explore New Business Opportunities: o Utilize professional knowledge and combine with company strategy to explore new business opportunities in (but not limited to) adaptive safety systems, in-vehicle sensors, cameras, etc. o Build and manage a team to establish corresponding capabilities to achieve the above goals. Essential Qualifications 1. Possess design, selection, and mass production experience of automotive vision (CMOS, NIR) or in-cabin microwave radar-related hardware modules, and be familiar with major suppliers and technology trends. 2. Understand the ISO-26262 standard and have experience in high ASIL-level (C/D) hardware projects. Be familiar with functional safety analysis methods such as HARA/FMEA/FTA. 3. Be familiar with the centralized architecture of automotive domain controllers and multimodal sensor fusion architecture, and understand high-speed data communication protocols. 4. Be familiar with the hardware integration, testing, and low-level data interfaces of in-cabin microwave or millimeter-wave radars, and have a basic understanding of radar signal processing and target tracking algorithms. 5. Understand the working principle of automotive passive safety systems. 6. Basic CATIA skills.
