DevOps Automation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Automation Engineer with strong expertise in ** automation pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and Oracle database environments **. This role sits within the Technology Engineering team and focuses on building scalable, reliable, and efficient automation solutions across technology and data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Git
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform (IaaS)
• Develop and manage automation scripts using **Groovy, Ansible **, and other scripting tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement DevOps best practices
• Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of systems and pipelines
• Integrate and manage automation workflows across cloud and on-prem environments
• Support and optimize **Oracle database environments **(preferred)
• Maintain code quality through best-practice coding standards and version control
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures and optimize deployment processes
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives
• Manage tasks and workflows using tools like JIRA (user stories, boards, tracking)

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with:

  • Jenkins (CI/CD pipelines)
  • Ansible (configuration management)
  • Git (version control)
  • Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
  • Groovy scripting

• Solid understanding of Cloud DevOps & IaaS architecture

• Experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks

• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps practices

• Familiarity with **Agile methodologies **(Scrum, Kanban)

Preferred Skills

• Experience working as or with an Oracle DBA
• Knowledge of database automation and performance tuning
• Exposure to enterprise-level banking or financial systems
• Experience with monitoring tools and logging frameworks

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3–7 years of relevant experience in DevOps / Automation Engineering
