We are seeking a Network Operations Center (NOC) Analyst to deliver level 1/2 technical support for multi-entity infrastructures, ensuring the continuity and reliability of business operations across network and security disciplines.
Based in Porto, you will join a team operating on a 24/7 shift system covering all operational hours. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, technical expertise across networking and systems, and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, high-tech operational environment.
Key Accountabilities
Monitoring & Alerts: Respond promptly to alerts from monitoring tools following established operational processes.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network problems, researching and implementing specific solutions.
Change Management: Manage network changes in strict accordance with required change management processes.
SLA & Prioritization: Prioritize operational tasks effectively to meet or exceed defined SLAs.
Continuous Improvement: Work collaboratively with the team to identify service improvements for existing processes and procedures.
Issue Escalation: Proactively identify, own, and escalate any issue or problem that could potentially impact services.
Qualifications
Technical Expertise
Experience: Proven experience working within a Network and Systems Operations Center (NOC) or equivalent formal technical training in the area.
Monitoring Tools: Practical knowledge of monitoring platforms (e.g., Grafana, LogicMonitor, LibreNMS, or similar).
Networking Protocols: Solid understanding of fundamental networking protocols and technologies, including:
TCP/IP, DNS, PTP/NTP
OSPF, BGP, MPLS
Multi-Vendor Environments: Hands-on troubleshooting experience with multi-vendor hardware and security systems, including Juniper, Cisco, Arista, Check Point, and Fortinet.
Languages
Fluency in Portuguese and English (both spoken and written) is mandatory.
Desirable Skills (Plus)
ITIL Framework: Good understanding of the ITIL framework and related operational IT processes.
Automation & Scripting: Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell, Perl, PHP) for automation or tool integration.
