Job Description
A leading printing and packaging manufacturer located in Sarasota, FL is seeking an experienced Die Cutter Operator to join their production team. This role is responsible for setting up and operating die cutting equipment used to convert printed materials into finished products.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate die cutting equipment to cut, crease, and perforate printed sheets according to job specificationsRead and interpret job tickets to ensure accurate production requirementsLoad materials and adjust machine settings for proper cutting, registration, and alignmentMonitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiencyInspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standardsTroubleshoot minor mechanical issues and report equipment problems when necessaryMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow all safety procedures and production schedules
Qualifications
Experience operating die cutting equipment in a printing or packaging environmentStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilityAbility to work in a fast-paced production environmentStrong attention to detail and quality controlAbility to stand for extended periods and handle production materials
Preferred Experience
Experience with Bobst, Kluge, Heidelberg, Brausse, or similar die cutting equipmentBackground in commercial printing, packaging, or folding carton production
