Key Duties
- Assist electricians with roadway lighting repairs
- Install and remove light poles
- Install foundations, conduit, hand boxes, and wiring
- Repair lighting outages
- Follow Miss Utility regulations
- Load and unload materials and equipment
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Maryland Class C driver's license with no points
- Truck-driving experience is a plus
- Some electrical experience preferred
- Must provide own hand tools
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
Physical Requirements
- Frequent lifting (51+ pounds)
- Climbing ladders
- Working outdoors and on your feet throughout the day
- Bending, kneeling, squatting, crawling, reaching overhead, and other physical tasks
