This role is ideal for a creative and detail-oriented designer who specializes in high-performing email experiences.
You will help modernize and elevate a growing email marketing program through thoughtful design, strong visual storytelling, and technical expertise.
The position combines creativity with performance-focused design, ensuring emails are engaging, accessible, responsive, and optimized for conversions.
You will collaborate closely with marketing teams to translate campaign goals into impactful customer communications.
This opportunity requires a strong understanding of email design systems, production constraints, and best practices across platforms.
You will play a key role in improving templates, creating scalable design solutions, and enhancing audience engagement through every campaign.

As an Email Designer, you will be responsible for creating compelling and performance-driven email experiences while partnering with cross-functional teams to improve marketing communications. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Redesigning and modernizing existing email templates using Figma, ensuring strong usability, visual consistency, and alignment with brand standards.
• Creating marketing emails focused on engagement, conversions, and click-through performance rather than aesthetics alone.
• Developing lightweight animations and interactive elements that improve user engagement while maintaining compatibility with email platforms.
• Applying email design best practices, including responsive layouts, accessibility standards, content hierarchy, readability, and deliverability considerations.
• Collaborating with marketing stakeholders to understand campaign objectives, incorporate feedback, and iterate based on performance insights.
• Delivering organized, production-ready Figma files with clear specifications for development teams.
• Improving email design workflows by identifying opportunities to simplify layouts, increase scalability, and enhance campaign effectiveness.
• Supporting ongoing email production after the initial template refresh by delivering consistent, high-quality designs.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced email designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in creating effective marketing emails. You should have a balance of creative skills, technical knowledge, and an understanding of performance-driven design principles. Required qualifications include:

• 5+ years of experience designing marketing emails with a portfolio focused specifically on email design work.
• Expert proficiency in Figma and experience creating developer-friendly design files.
• Strong knowledge of email design limitations and best practices across major email clients, devices, and platforms.
• Experience designing emails that balance creative execution with technical requirements such as image optimization, rendering consistency, spam considerations, and performance.
• Experience creating lightweight animations, including GIFs or similar formats, to enhance engagement without affecting deliverability.
• Ability to interpret campaign goals and performance data to continuously improve creative solutions.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and collaborate effectively with marketing and production teams.
• A portfolio showcasing deep email design expertise is required; candidates focused primarily on web, product, or general brand design may not be the right fit.
