Jacuzzi Group is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineering Superintendent to join our team. This key role will oversee and coordinate engineering activities within our manufacturing facility to ensure efficient operations and continuous improvement.

As an Engineering Superintendent at Jacuzzi Group, you will lead engineering projects, supervise engineering staff, and collaborate with production and maintenance teams to uphold safety, quality, and productivity standards throughout the plant.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise and lead the engineering team to support manufacturing and production processes.
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate engineering activities to ensure timely completion of projects and maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to identify engineering needs and implement solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices in engineering and manufacturing.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards in all engineering activities.
  • Manage engineering budgets, resources, and schedules efficiently.
  • Maintain documentation for engineering projects, equipment specifications, and maintenance protocols.
  • Support troubleshooting and technical problem solving to minimize downtime.
  • Work closely with suppliers, contractors, and external partners when necessary.

Requirements

Experience required:

  • 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Proven experience in leading engineering teams in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing engineering principles.

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field) required.
  • Project management certification (PMP) or Lean Six Sigma certifications are a plus.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
