Key Responsibilities
- Own and optimize complex, high-volume BD and GR calendars, coordinating travel as necessary
- Interface with government customers, industry partners, and Impulse teams
- Anticipate needs and dynamically adjust schedules based on shifting priorities
- Own the conference and event planning process for BD and GR; managing the calendar of conferences, engaging with conference organizers to manage Impulse participation as well as internal stakeholders to coordinate their participation
- Work from the DC office, maintain an Impulse presence
- Engage with the office building management, triage any requests of or
from them; including office supplies, drinks, snacks - Manage the visitor badging system and coordinate badges for visitors
- Serve as an integral member of the BD and GR team
- Manage BD and GR deliverables schedules and milestones including proposals, white papers, and presentations
- Ensure coordination and information flow across the BD and GR teams and
with other Impulse teams including mission management, engineering,
program management, finance, security, IT, and marketing - Manage BD and GR information tools and repositories including: Confluence (documentation), Excel (data analysis), SharePoint (data repository), PowerPoint / Canva (presentations), Slack (primary communication channel)
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- High school diploma, or equivalency certificate
- 10+ years supporting senior leaders in a dynamic environment
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft products (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and SharePoint)
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
Benefits

- 8+ years of demonstrated executive assistant experience supporting business development and legal leadership in aerospace, hardware, or manufacturing environments
- 4+ years of demonstrated executive administrative experience with aerospace or start-up companies
- Demonstrated experience managing an office
- Demonstrated proficiency with Confluence, SharePoint, and Slack or similar tools
- Active security clearance

Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of stock options, and access to medical, vision & dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan.
