Here is the job description for the role:



Facilities is all about building and sustaining an amazing environment where people feel welcome and open to experiencing God’s truth. This experience starts the moment a guest steps onto the parking lot, all the way to taking a seat in the auditorium. This role is responsible for going the extra mile to ensure our campus looks and feels amazing! Must have a passion for welcoming and connecting with people, building teams and mobilizing the volunteers it takes to create an amazing environment.

Primary Responsibilities.


Oversee upkeep of the building, grounds, and maintenance equipment.


Oversee all repairs as needed.


Recruiting and/or training of team members.


Build and cultivate relationships with key volunteers and staff.


Assists with upholding safety codes and laws for ministry building and grounds.


Responsible for locking or closing down of the building when directed.


Trained as backup on the security and fire alarm systems.


Trained on the HVAC system including the software to maintain the heating and cooling for the building.


Assists in set up of events for the facility.


Operates up to a 30 ft. lift for events and special projects.


Orders campus consumable supplies.


Serves at various events outside of Cove Kids weekend responsibilities as needed.


Maintain a mission focused attitude, not limiting duties or responsibilities when asked to perform to meet the purpose of our ministry.


Weekly Time Allocation (40 hours): Weekend Service - 20%, Meetings - 20%, Team Building- 25%, Facilities Maintenance- 35%


Personal Responsibilities

  • Live a life worthy of the calling as taught in Ephesians 4
  • Demonstrated follower of Jesus Christ as described in 1 Timothy
  • Develop personal evangelism opportunities within and outside of the church
  • Faithfully tithing consistently at least 10% of all personal income to God’s work through The Cove Church
  • Adhere to and encompass the qualities and characteristics required of The Cove Church employees, as defined by the Policies and Procedures Handbook
