Lesaffre Egypt for yeast industries is an Egyptian joint stock company for producing baking yeasts and yeasts extract. We are 100% owned by the holding company and part of Middle East & Africa baking region.

Lesaffre Egypt was established according to the Investment Guarantees and Incentives Law No. 8 of 1997, and registered in the Commercial Registry Office of Cairo Investment authority under No. 65570 on April, 14, 2013.

Our main operational purpose is to establish, manufacture, and package yeasts, yeast derivatives, and yeasts extracts. These many forms and types are then used within food products, animal feed, bread-making and bread improvers, flavorings, colors, and enzymes.

In October 2014, Lesaffre Egypt for yeasts industry (S.A.E) began effectively managing the acquired company.

Lesaffre Egypt’s main office is located in the Giza Governorate of Sheikh Zayed City while the factory is placed in the Nubaryia Industrial Area of El Beheira Governorate. We also have a Baking Center and Logistics Warehouse in 6th of October City. Currently, We employ more than 200 individual

  • Factory Manager Assistance 

  •     Provide administrative services and direct support to the Factory Manager.

  • Plant Cleaning & Housekeeping

    • Responsible for maintaining overall plant cleanliness and housekeeping standards.

  • Scrap Material Management

    • Organize and oversee disposal and proper handling of scrap materials.

  • Uniform Supply & Maintenance

    • Provide employees with uniforms and ensure regular cleaning and upkeep.

  • Service Provider Management

    • Manage and follow up with multiple service providers, including a) Cleaning services b) Hazardous waste disposal c) Used equipment oil disposal d) Non‑hazardous waste disposal e) Scrap disposal f) Uniform supply g) Uniform laundry services

  • Vendor Performance & Invoices

    • Track service providers’ invoices, contracts, and performance to ensure compliance and efficiency.

  • Procurement Support

    • Create and process PRs (Purchase Requisitions) and POs (Purchase Orders) for the operations team.

  • Cross‑Department Communication

    • Coordinate with HR, Finance, and Purchasing departments to facilitate operational needs.

  • Systems & Filing Procedures

    • Develop and implement new filing procedures and organizational systems.

  • Visitor & Expat Logistics

    • Arrange accommodation, catering, cleaning, security, and transportation for plant visitors and expatriates.

  • Expense Management

    • Process expense reports for the Operations Director and plant management.

  • Meeting Support

    • Record minutes of director’s meetings and follow up on action plans and corrective actions.

  • Operations Reporting

    • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and presenting operational data.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business.

  • Experience: 3–5 years in operations, administration, or plant support.

  • Technical: MS Office, SAP systems, documentation control.
