Overview / Job Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Electrical Lineman to join our faculty as a 12-month instructor. This position is responsible for delivering hands-on and classroom instruction to students pursuing careers in the electrical line industry. The ideal candidate will bring real-world experience, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to student success.
**Your day-to-day responsibilities ** will include, but not be limited to:
* Deliver instruction in electrical linework, including safety, climbing, equipment operation, and maintenance
* Provide hands-on training in lab and field environments
* Develop and update curriculum to meet industry standards
* Evaluate student performance and provide feedback
* Maintain a safe and organized training environment
* Collaborate with industry partners and advisory boards
* Support student recruitment, retention, and placement efforts
Requirements
Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills Needed:
* High school diploma or GED
* Minimum of 3 years of experience as a journeyman lineman
* Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems and safety practices
* Ability to operate and demonstrate industry equipment
* Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred)
